Cruise travellers visiting Rome
with Royal Caribbean can now
indulge in a visit to the Pope’s
private summer residence as one
of its new shore excursions.
The outing also includes stops
at the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican
Museum and St Peter’s Basilica
before arriving at the estate,
which dates back to 1626.
Never before has the private
residence been opened to visitors,
let alone cruise passengers.
Running for 10-hours, the full
day tour is priced at US$165 per
adult and $129 for children
