PRINCESS Cruises president
Jan Swartz is clearly always well
prepared, having been named
a 2015 Woman of Distinction by
the Girl Scouts of Greater Los
Angeles.
At a special ceremony to
accept the accolade Swartz
shared her own inspirational
story of selling cookies as a
young girl when she was a
Brownie in her home state of
Texas – the start of a lifetime
career path in sales which has
seen her now head up one of the
“best known brands in the cruise
industry” as its first female chief.
Swartz also participated
in a mentoring session with
the participating Girl Scouts
offering guidance and answering
questions, with some of the
emerging leaders.
