continues, with the UK’s new
polar research ship to be named
RRS Sir David Attenborough,
despite “Boaty McBoatface”
topping a public vote, BBC News
is reporting.
The internet has fought back
by launching a petition urging
David Attenborough himself to
change his name to Sir Boaty
McBoatface “in the interest of
democracy and humour”.
At the time of publish, the
change.org petition had 3,152
supporters.
