CARNIVAL Corporation didn’t
hold back for AIDAprima’s
christening over the weekend,
putting on a show in Hamburg of
lights, music and fireworks for an
audience of 1.6 million.
The ship is the corporation’s
most environmentally friendly
ship and the first cruise ship in
the world with a dual-fuel engine
that can be powered by LNG.
The 124,100-tonne vessel
accommodates 3,300 passengers
and is homeported in Hamburg,
Germany sailing all-season seven day
journeys through Western
Europe including London, Paris,
Brussels and Amsterdam.
