SEADREAM has seen a spike
in interest from Australians for
its Caribbean cruises, fuelled
by better air connections from
Sydney to Dallas/Fort Worth and
onwards, non-stop direct flights
into San Juan, Puerto Rico.
A spokesperson said while
growth in the Caribbean is not as
strong as in the Mediterranean
– where Aussies make up 10%
of guests – it “hopes to see an
ultimate figure close to that in the
Caribbean too, in coming years”.
MEANWHILE, Celebrity Cruises
reported last week it has seen
Australian bookings for Alaskan
sailings increase a whopping 65%
year-on-year.
