MUCH to the chagrin of ships transitting their bootleg Chanel and Louis Vuitton around the globe, Ever Given has sensationally become stuck in the Suez Canal once again.
Ever Given spent six days grounded in the artificial waterway last week on its way to Rotterdam, but just as it was transiting through the English Channel on the way to its final port in the North Sea, one of the crew members realised he had left his pack of gum back in the Suez, and the ship turned back to retrieve it.
Upon re-entering the Canal, and Ever Given’s bridge agreeing it would be quite unlikely the ship would become stuck again, she was blown off course by strong winds, running aground on the opposite bank of the Suez to last week’s grounding.
However, Egyptian authorities stated “there may have been technical or human errors” also – who would’ve thought!
