Home brewing has been banned at Australian Antarctic stations, with alcohol limits being tightened.
Australian Antarctic expeditioners have passed down knowledge about how to make a good home-brewed beer for years, but it is a tradition that it is about to end, with a new alcohol policy being implemented by the Australian Antarctic Division, which outlaws home-brew and recommends no more than 10 standard drinks per week.
