SINGAPORE is welcoming Australians to cruise aboard its ships, after the state’s government changed its rules to capture the fly-cruise market.
Previously, sailings in Singapore were only open to residents, but the rules have now been adjusted to welcome non-residents, including international visitors arriving via the vaccinated travel lanes from Sydney and Melbourne.
All passengers are required to be fully vaccinated, and fulfil the prevailing COVID-19 testing and Stay-Home Notice requirements before they board their cruise.
When entering Singapore passengers must present their vaccination certificates at the immigration counter for verification and processing, and download the TraceTogether mobile app.
Travel advisors can also apply for a grant from Singapore’s Cruise Development Fund to support the development and marketing of cruise packages.
