The Minister for Tourism said official confirmation is days away, as New South Wales and Queensland confirm state-specific mandates.
Australia’s cruise ship ban is slated to end next month, with the cruise industry given its greatest certainty yet that the most recent prohibition extension will be the last.
Minister for Tourism Dan Tehan told Sky News the ban is likely to end 17 Apr, with a formal announcement expected within the next few days.
Tehan said the Australian Government is now awaiting the tick of approval from New South Wales and Queensland, which are finalising state health protocols.
