VIKING has updated its health & safety program, discontinuing all onboard COVID testing for passengers fleetwide.
The announcement was made shortly after the United States this weekend declared it is eliminating COVID testing requirements for air travellers to enter the country.
Although Viking will also no longer require a pre-departure COVID test, the cruise line will continue to provide testing capabilities if a guest reports symptoms, requests a test, or if the onboard medical team deems it necessary.
Likewise, Viking’s vaccine requirement for all guests and crews remains in place, and for the time being, crew members will keep testing as needed, and will wear masks at all times- full guidelines available HERE.
