CARNIVAL Corporation’s German offshoot AIDA Cruises has announced a “farewell season” for its AIDAaura, confirming the ship will leave the fleet in Sep.
Her final season with AIDA will offer itineraries in South Africa, Norway, Iceland, Greenland, the British Isles and a final voyage on several European rivers, including the Thames, the Seine, and the Scheldt.
Just before Christmas, Carnival confirmed further rationalisation of its global fleet (CW 22 Dec 2022), including two Costa vessels, which will now be joined by the 1,266-passenger AIDAaura which became part of the AIDA fleet when she was named in Apr 2003.
