ROYAL Caribbean has cancelled
six departures of its Empress
of the Seas, which is currently
undergoing a major renovation.
Built in 1990, the ship has been
sailing with RCI’s Spanish sister
line Pullmantur for the last 8 years
and was scheduled to rejoin the
Royal Caribbean fleet next week.
However the work on the 2,020
passenger ship is taking longer
than expected with the first
sailing now not until late Apr.
