RCI takes out both major cruise categories in the 2016 NTIA.
The Australian Federation of Travel Agents has just wrapped up the 2016 National Travel Industry Awards, with Royal Caribbean winning the Best Cruise Operator category for both Domestic and International deployments.
APT was also a big winner on the night, taking out the coveted Best River Cruise Operator category along with the Best Tour Operator – Domestic award.
Cruise specialist travel agencies were also honoured, with Western Australia’s Bicton Travel winning the Best Travel Agency Retail – Single Location category, while Queanbeyan City Travel and Cruise won the inaugural People’s Choice Retail Travel Agency of the Year award.
Rounding out the cruise awards was Cruise Guru, which won Best Online Travel Agency for www.cruiseguru.com.au.
