| CW breaking news – Marguerite Fitzgerald to take over as Carnival President

Effective from Jan, the travel industry veteran will replace Sture Myrmell.

Carnival Australia has named Marguerite Fitzgerald as President, replacing Sture Myrmell, who will transition to the new role of President of Carnival UK.

Fitzgerald will assume Myrmell’s dual roles of President of Carnival Australia and P&O Cruises Australia, returning to the country and to the travel industry, from Boston Consulting Group in the United States.

The appointment will take effect from 10 Jan – more in tomorrow’s Cruise Weekly.
