CARNIVAL Corporation’s new
experiential ‘Fathom’ brand
is being sued by two Cuban
Americans who are claiming their
civil rights have been violated
by being barred from booking a
voyage on the Adonia to Cuba.
Cuba has a travel boycott for
people who were born there
so the cruise line is not taking
reservations from those who
originally came from the island.
The complaint by the Florida based
keen cruisers cites the US
Civil Rights Act of 1964 which
prohibits “discrimination in
places of accommodation”.
