FLIGHT Centre (FC) Australia General Manager Kelly Spencer welcomed the news the country’s cruise ban will soon come to an end.
Although it was Flight Centre’s hardest-hit business segment throughout the pandemic, upon the reopening of the Australian border in Nov, the company witnessed a three-fold increase in enquiries on all cruise products, Spencer revealed.
“Since then, enquiries have remained steady, with Jan and Feb this year showing a significant increase month on month to levels that rival pre-pandemic enquiries,” she said.
