| Fincantieri inks JV

FINCANTIERI has teamed up
with China’s largest shipbuilding
conglomerate, China State
Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC),
to design cruise ships specifically
customised for the Chinese
and Asian market, to be sold to
Carnival Corporation.
The vessels will be built at
one of CSSC’s shipyards, the
SWS facility and Fincantieri will
provide consultancy services and
supply certain key components,
the shipbuilder said.
