FRED. Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled a brand new 106-night ‘Voyage of Exploration Around the World’, inspired by journeys of historic and fictional explorers.
Departing from Southampton on 06 Jan 2025, flagship Bolette will follow a similar route to the Magellan expedition – the first voyage around the world.
The cruise, which will take guests to destinations including Brazil, Argentina, French Polynesia, Mauritius and South Africa, will also cruise the south coast of Australia, as Investigator did in 1801.
Bolette will also call into destinations visited by the likes of James Cook, and Alexander Selkirk – the Scottish privateer who was one of the sources of inspiration for Daniel Defoe’s fictional character Robinson Crusoe.
This cruise was unveiled exclusively to members of Fred. Olsen Oceans club yesterday, and will go on general sale on 03 Mar.
All guests will enjoy up to 600 per person to spend on board plus free door-to-door transfers covering up to 250 mainland miles from the port, with the option to join and return to Liverpool departing on 04 Jan 2025 for an additional 400 per person.
