KIRIBATI welcomed its first cruise ship visit since the pandemic on the weekend.
Phoenix Reisen’s chartered ship Amadea dropped 523 passengers off in Kiribati on Sat, who were welcomed to the country with entertainment from the Police Services Brass Band, a local choir, and traditional dancers.
The guests were treated to a showcase of Kiribati’s unique and vibrant culture through dance, song, and art, while some took the opportunity for a swim before embarking.
Kiribati is expected to receive its next cruise ship in Mar.
