CARNIVAL Cruise Line didn’t
pass up the opportunity to
celebrate International Joke Day
on Fri, hosting a group of media
on board Carnival Spirit for an
afternoon of laughter.
Punchliner comedians Simon
Kennedy, Daniel Townes, Chris
Wainhouse and George Kapiniaris kept the
group in stitches in the ship’s
Punchliner Comedy Club.
After the show, the group
trialled Guy’s Burger Joint and
BlueIguana Cantina.
Carnival presents around 25,000
comedy shows a year, with up to
20 performances on an average
seven- to 10-day voyage and 25
ships in its fleet.
