MSC Cruises’ new Meraviglia
class ships will feature shows
from Cirque du Soleil, with
two performances nightly in a
custom-built theatre under a
new partnership with the global
entertainment giant.
The €20 million “aft lounge”
will feature a circular stage codesigned
with Cirque du Soleil,
with 200 guests able to dine
during the first show and space
for 300 to have drinks in the later
performance.
The first ship in the class, the
MSC Meraviglia, is currently
under construction and will
enter service in the western
Mediterranean in 2017.
