SURVITEC has secured the contract for the implementation of an inert gas system for an LNG cruise ship, thought to be for Japanese company NYK Group.
Scheduled for delivery in 2025, there is also an option for a second vessel.
“While our inert gas systems have already gained widespread use in other ship types, the passenger ship sector has only recently begun to explore the technology,” Survitec Managing Director Fire Systems Mark Clegg said.
