SEABOURN Ovation is one step
closer, with the ceremony for the
cutting of the first steel taking
place earlier this week at the
Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa.
Seabourn president Richard
Meadows said “The cutting of
steel is a significant milestone
in the creation of Seabourn
Ovation, as well as the continuing
evolution of the Seabourn fleet”.
The 40,350-GRT vessel will
join the fleet in spring 2018
and will accommodate just 600
passengers, maintaining a staff to
guest ratio of close to one staff
member for each guest on board.
