BOATING has taken off as a hobby for the rich during the pandemic – possibly because they have been unable to board a cruise.
However, if you’re looking to get in on the pastime on the cheap, a “free” boat has recently been abandoned on a Wisconsin highway (pictured).
The state’s highway patrol said in a Facebook post troopers responded to a call for service in Washington County and discovered someone had abandoned a boat on Highway 33.
“Disclaimer – this is not the proper method for disposing a boat,” the post said, adding troopers are frequently confronted with baffling sights while patrolling highways.
