CRUISING With Honey host Honida Beram has told Cruise Weekly she has been “overwhelmed by the support” for her ‘Lift the Cruise Ban Rally’, scheduled to go ahead in both Sydney and Brisbane this Sun (CW 07 Feb).
The simultaneous rallies will be held from 12pm-3pm, at the OPT in Sydney, and Portside Wharf in Brisbane, as hopes grow the human biosecurity emergency period will be allowed to expire on 17 Apr (CW 14 Feb).
Beram told Cruise Weekly attendees can expect “colourful clothes, empty luggage, and fake cocktails” – all hallmarks of cruisers who miss being out on the ocean.
“The rally was organised in response to the cruisers and associated businesses who were desperate to have their voices heard,” she said.
