It HASN’T been a good season
in Alaska for Holland America
Line, with reports from the US
saying a guest has disappeared
overboard on the MS Statendam.
The 64-year-old passenger
was unable to be located when
the ship docked in Seattle after
cruising from Victoria to conclude
a scheduled 14-night sailing.
Officials notified the US Coast
Guard, which launched a search.
HAL said it had reviewed video
footage onboard, determining the
pax disappeared between 10pm
after leaving Victoria, and 5am.
The Coast Guard has suspended
the search for the passenger.
