THE Belfast Harbour Authority has proven
that “it’s an ill wind that blows nobody any
good,” after a huge year of Titanic-related
tourism, a century after the original disaster.
A record of almost 80,000 passengers and
crew on board 44 cruise ships have visited the
Northern Ireland port this year.
A key drawcard has been the Titanic Belfast
attraction which opened on 31 March.
