DISNEY Cruise Line’s newest ship Disney Wish has been delayed by six weeks.
The cruise line announced the hold-up is due to COVID-related issues at its shipyard in Germany, Meyer Werft, which is owned by the embattled Genting Hong Kong (CW 25 Jan), and was recently refused a state bailout.
Wish was set to embark on her maiden voyage on 09 Jun, but will now set sail for the first time on 14 Jul, with 12 sailings cancelled in total.
